hai.. what a way to start a new year.. ever since December, my bank account have been dropping and dropping.. no job during the holidays means no extra income to spend.. but.. December holidays had me spending like crazy, leaving me super super broke.. I don't even dare to continue my accounts..
why is it that the poor people like me are spending non-stop and contributing/boosting the economy but richer people are keeping their money in their banks and not doing anything to boost the economy? this is so vexing! I have endless needs to look after but my money is just not enough at all!
I'm turning 21 this year.. and so do all of my friends! and this means that I have to spend to buy tonnes of presents for them! Oh no!!! this year, 2008 is so not going to be a feeling 'rich' year.. ARGH~ can someone grow money for me??? hahahaha

without you in hall 让我没有目的的过我的每一天。。。looking forward to nothing when I finish lessons.. miserable and lonely.. But I've promised you that I would be strong and study hard.. though I'm kinda lost in lectures and tutorials, feeling stressed out becos of everything there is to make me worry, I know I have to be strong and slowly finish everything that is there for me to finish..

2nd week of SCHOOL
the first week of school kinda ended very quickly for me.. I wasn't paying much attention in lectures and the whole time I was thinking of going back to hall so that I could spend my last week of hall life with Dear around me.. thinking of this always bring my tears to my eyes and my nose feeling sour sour de..
it's Sunday and I'm back in hall again after dinner with my family.. roomie's not around and I'm alone once again.. luckily for me, I still have Goon downstairs to fall back to.. still got Sek Yeong to talk cock with once in awhile.. but still, without CMY and Dear around in hall suddenly feels so empty. I'm fine.. I'm really fine.. I gotta get used to this type of life anyways.. cant always depend on someone the whole time de mahz.. be INDEPENDENT! hehe~
tomorrow, or should I say in 9 hours time, it will be the start of my second week in school le.. I gotta 收拾我的心情so that I can concentrate on my work.. I aim to do better than last sem, which is rather easy cos I din do well last sem! hahaha~

Volleyball
used to be really very interested in playing volleyball back in my secondary school days. I could still remember how I would stay back after school with some of my friends to practice volleyball at the carpark just outside the study area. I wanted so badly to join the volleyball team when I got into secondary school, but somehow, my school didnt offer that as a CCA.. we have no girl's team.
Volleyball in NYJC is a NO NO cos the team is just made up of all the good good players from everywhere. people appealed into NYJC through volleyball and there was no recreational team. and there in NYJC, I continued my 5th and 6th year of netball..
now I'm in NTU.. all sports are made up of the IVP players and I doubt there is any recreational team ba. so if you are not good, you dont even get the chance to join them at trainings! I played my first game of volleyball when I came into NTU Hall 14. the first game in Year 1, I could still remember clearly was with Hall 5. I got to play cos we were short of players as Xiaoying was overseas. that was my life's first proper volleyball match. the subsequent games, I was just watching at the side lines. not knowing how the game goes, what the rules are and when you have no trainings for the proper game before, one will really feel lost while on court. everyone knew what to do except for you. that was how I felt last year.. I told myself, I'm not going to play volleyball competitively again. I managed to keep away from volleyball this IH for the first 2 games. but seeing that they were short of players, 心软的我，decided to go for it again.. went for the trainings on Monday and Wednesday which left my both hands covered with bruises. I'm not complaining abt all the bruises that I got, but somehow things just dont feel right. I actually enjoyed training! but today's game left me feeling TERRIBLE terrible.. I'm not at all ready to play and I think I just screwed up the whole game.. I feel HORRIBLE horrible! hai~ am I gonna swear that I won't touch competitive volleyball again? am I suppose to stick with Netball for the rest of my life?
ARGH!!! I feel totally screwed up! DAMN!

another new Semester..
in another 9 more hours and I'll be in the Lecture theater having my first lecture of the semester.. hai~ I'm not even done with my holidays yet and now I need to start studying again.. What a BOTHER!
Cmy already moved out last semester and today like just, I got to see my new roomie for the very first time~! she is so so so PRETTY! hahaha.. I may be exaggerating but yeap, I really think she is very pretty.. hehehe.. her name is Joanne and she is also studying in the same school as me. MAE but 2 years my senior.. I was really very very nervous to see her at first.. as in when I went back to my room I saw the lights on from downstairs, so she was in the room and I felt really nervous and partially excited.. hahaha..
hopefully, this new semester will be a smooth sailing one for me and my friends. Jia you Jess~
