the once a year aunties gathering happened at MOF, Bugis outlet this year.. all the aunties are still as aunty as before.. we are still the same... =)

Food was good, and so was the company.. did some shopping and aunty Kershin had the biggest 收获！Fang, Ade and I were suddenly into the Faceshop craze.. talking about how good their eyeliners are.. especially the shimmer ones.. rite Adelyne??? hahahaha GREAT discounts with the usual GSS 20% storewide plus members' 10% on the birthday week (all thanx to Fang!!).. hahaha.. this is HOW AUNTY we are!

It is BBQ time!!! At the same time a JERKZFLYS cum NETBALL gathering to celebrate Fang's bday at East Coast park.. not many turned up though.. some were not in Singapore, some were busy with work and some uncontactable?!? Whatever it is, I'm still glad that this gathering was a success! I bet Fang enjoyed herself and of course the rest of us enjoyed too~

BBQ food.. yummy yummy! Chicken wings, chicken fillet, sausages, crabsticks, satay, otah, sotong, stingray, prawns.. CHEESE prawns especially.. WooHoo~

140609-210809_Hanoi - Halong Bay - Sapa

Just back from my trip to Vietnam 1 day ago.. My first trip with friends and not family, and also, my first trip flying with a budget airline, Tiger airways.

Budget Terminal is really different from the 3 other terminals in Singapore. Nothing as classy and 大方 as those 3 terminals.. Simple and empty.. not too many things to complicate the whole look. I guess it's beautiful in its own ways..

Reached Hanoi at around 2100 and checked in to Hanoi Boutique Hotel after an hour long ride from the airport. YY's fren took us to Hanoi Hotel for dinner cum supper.

Day 1 and Day 2
Woke up early to start our ride to Halong Bay. The whole journey took us 4 hours plus and nothing matters anymore when we see our Junk boat! It's beautiful and PERFECT! =) 2 days 1 night there suddenly didnt seem enough when I saw the beautiful bay and scenery...

Lunch was served after we checked in to our bedroom.. Didnt have the chance to take a photo of my nice nice bedroom cos someone messed it up the minute we got in! *Irritating* But, the bedroom is really cool. It's small, cosy and really cool. Chairs at the window side where we can just sit there and enjoy the scenery outside.

But one thing to warn people who are going to Halong Bay in the future, bring your own food onboard! Not that the food is horrible, but they actually serve little little mice on the Junk boat.. 吃不饱啊! Then it was to the Surprising Cave where you really need to bring your imaginations along.. hahahaha.. What is nice about the cave is the wind that blows at you when you are at the entrance. It is like as though you are in an aircon room! The cave is full of stones and pillars like these...

Day 3, Day 4 and Day 5

The night was spent travelling in a train and reaching Sapa in the wee hours of the morning. King Express it was. 原来 the different trains that we saw on the web was just the different sections and cabins of the same train! hahahaha.. How cool is that? Ours was one of the better ones will aircon and proper bed for us to sleep in for the whole 9 hours!

And finally we reached Sapa.. The best destination for this trip.. where all our stresses, problems and pains have temporarily vanished into thin air. 感觉飘飘然的。。真舒服！=) You will understand when you see the photos. But maybe not cos the place is soooooo BEAUTIFUL that you really have to be there personally to feel the magic!

Then it was to the Silver Waterfall on the last day at Sapa..

Day 6 and Day 7

It was back to Hanoi and we missed Sapa already even during the trip back on the train. Hanoi is sweltering hot and it's CRAZY! arghhhhhhhhh~ So hot that we couldnt be bothered to take photos.. serious! The only ones that I have are those taken while we hide in a aircon cafe where the fans have to be switched on!!! This shows how hot it is at Hanoi!!!

I'm glad I'm back in Singapore, but.. I still MISS Sapa... I so wanna stay at Sapa!!!!!!

Was a great trip and I really enjoyed the company and the scenery.. The only thing that spoilt the whole trip was the taxi driver who insisted we pay the fare which we already paid to the hotel... Whatever it is.. screw him and there we have.. Hanoi_Halong Bay_Sapa~

one more paper, 4 more days... I CAN'T WAIT ANYMORE!!!!

Wooah wooah wooah... it's has been 1 month plus since I last wrote on this blog of mine! Nothing much have been happening during this past 1 month except that I have been attending lessons for my Special sem.. CPE811 is boring like hell and I only attended like half of the total sessions.. GV17 is hell of a fun! Never missed a single session during the past 5 weeks.. 2 singing presentations left me more willing to sing to a crowd and I guess, my singing skills have improved since!

Finally got to meet up with my friends on Friday.. But there were only 5 of us that made it.. Han.CMY.Xue.Fang.Me @ Coffee Club, Raffles City outlet. It was also the last day of IA for Fang and CMY! yeay~~~ We were really crazy.. walking with many many things to carry, all the way to Dhoby Ghaut, stopping in the middle to take some photos.. Has been a long long time since we last did some crazy things while we are out...

All of us were tired, but I guess all enjoyed the company, at least for me, I did...

Cant wait for our next gathering.. 28th June that is.. or is it 27th June??? gotta check my organiser le... SHUCKS!
