no longer a TEEN... I'm 20 le..

happy birthday to me once again.. I've just stepped into the world of an adult, no longer a TEENager anymore.. I'm also not sure if I should be glad or sad.. hahaha.. this world is full of contradictions! okay.. here's how I spent my 20th birthday..

Brunch with Mum, Dad, David Uncle, GuGu, Bro, Veronica(bro's gf), Chim-ma(uncle's mum), Spencer and Jing Le(my cute nephews) at Hong Xing Dim Sum restaurant.. it's a really famous restaurant as we all could see from the queue outside and inside the restaurant.. it's a really old place.. the food's not bad, but didnt really enjoyed myself cos I had to entertain dear little Spencer throughout.. hahaha.. he is always so full of questions and sometimes.. rubbish.. was supposed to meet Dear but brunch ended early, so I went back home to cut cake first.. Bro bought a durian cake from Emicakes.. super expensive, but it's really really nice! =) opened my first and maybe my only wrapped up present from Veron and Bro.. yay! it's a cute Precious Moments Box.. another box for me to look more tidy with all my small small accessories at home.. HeeZ..

Dad drove me to Bishan MRT where I took the train to Cityhall to meet Dear.. just couldnt wait to see him and be with him! =) we walked around at Marina Square.. went to buy my MP3 player.. yeaap.. in the end I decided to buy the A800 series.. 2GB white one.. still in mids of understanding how to use it properly though.. hahaha..

not exactly very very happy lahz.. but it's good enough le.. hehehe.. we caught a movie at Marina Square too.. Shrek 3.. it's nice lahz.. kinda funny, but the whole cinema wasnt exactly laughing.. maybe bcos the kids dont understand the joke they are trying to tell.. too bad lor.. only makes us look stupid mahz.. hahaha.. it's a 93 mins show.. not too bad and I enjoyed the show.. it was still early for dinner which was at 1930 at Chijmes.. we slowly made our way there, shop shop around Raffles City before going there.. restaurant is called Gyu-kaku.. a Japanese Grill restaurant.. it's nice.. food's nice too.. I like the setting, as in the grills and the way of cooking our own food at the tables.. we couldnt really make out what is what in the menu but we still managed to order some great food.. the beef is FANTASTIC! but but but.. I think the food there is quite expensive.. here's some photo of the food and the grill..

while waiting for us to be seated at the restaurant.. Dear played a joke on me.. a really bad one that really scare me out of my skin! he suddenly got so serious and told me that he had something very serious to tell me.. his face was like, "I'm not joking and I'm really really serious here." then he kept really quiet.. I thought what happened.. maybe I did something to make him angry or what.. I was so freaked out lahz.. so many things were going through my mind but I just didnt know what he wanted to tell me.. after we sat down, he sat next to me, opened his bag and gave me another present.. a D&G perfume(Light Blue) which I asked him to help me check out the price at the airport.. that was the joke.. he just wanted to scare me and then surprise me.. ZZzzz.. I was like near to tears le lahz.. but still.. I love the perfume that he gave me.. it was meant to be our 6th month's present, but he wanted to give it to me earlier so that I could use it sooner and bcos I complained about having very little presents this year.. hehehe.. I like it, but I DONT like the joke part.. it really scare the hell out of me!

my special day ended really quickly.. 10th June just passed by so quickly, so fast.. and I must say, this is one of the few happiest birthday in my 20 years. the other one I can remember was the one in JC1 where my gers too played a prank on me, giving me a surprise at my home with the help of my mum.. hahaha.. I enjoyed the day really much and I'm really happy.. wanted to say I felt like a little happy girl, but I'm no more a small girl le! hahaha.. I'm a young adult now.. =)
